    Protestors Set Kondele Police Station In Kisumu On Fire After SCOK Verdict

    Protesters in Kisumu have set ablaze the Kondele police station after the ruling by the supreme Court of Kenya upholding the election of president Uhuru Kenyatta

    The Police based at the police station had a difficult time as they tried to disperse the crowd while trying to control the fire.

    Protests erupted in Kisumu immediately after the the determination by the supreme court to uphold the election of president Uhuru Kenyatta. The demonstrators also set a car ablaze during the confrontation.

    Protests have also erupted in Migori with armed youth taking to the streets on the Migori-Sirare highway.

     

    The Supreme court ruled that the petitions that had been presented before them were unmerited and therefore dismissed both the petitions.
