George Abege struck deep into the second half to deny AFC Leopards all the three points in Kenyan Premier League Wednesday fixture stages at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

Ingwe, as the 12-time Kenyan champs are nicknamed had the brighter start to the tie – netting in the opening seconds of the proceedings through red-hot attacking midfielder Whyvonne Isuza as all looked set for a bumper harvest.

But, the coach Andre Cassa Mbungo’s outfit failed to kill the game against a relentless Sharks, who threatened occasionally in search of the leveler.

And it finally came inside the three added minutes of the second half with Ugandan import George Abege planting the ball inside the net with a predatory touch to even the game.
