Born Luca Giuseppe Pasqualino on February 19, 1990, in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, Luke Pasqualino is a British actor of Italian descent.

His parents, hailing from Sicily and Naples, instilled a rich cultural heritage in him.

His father, Pep Pasqualino, owns a chain of salons called Image International, where Luke briefly worked before pursuing acting.

Luke has one sibling, an older sister named Natalie Pasqualino.

While Luke has garnered public attention through his acting career, Natalie has maintained a lower profile.

She is reportedly a model, though details about her professional endeavors are scarce.

The siblings share a close bond, often highlighted by Luke’s social media posts where he shares moments with Natalie and her son, his nephew.

    Career

Pasqualino’s acting journey began in 2008 when, at the age of 18, he landed the role of Freddie McClair in the third season of the E4 teen drama Skins (2009–2010).

His portrayal of the laid-back, weed-smoking college student earned him critical acclaim and marked his breakthrough in the industry.

The same year, he made his film debut in the low-budget movie Stingers Rule! (2009), playing the protagonist in a story about a local football team fighting property developers.

He also appeared in guest roles on shows like Casualty and Miranda.

Pasqualino’s career gained momentum with diverse roles across genres. In 2011, he played Paolo, a young servant, in the historical drama The Borgias.

The following year, he starred as a young William “Husker” Adama in Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome (2012), a Syfy pilot turned online series and televised film.

In 2013, he appeared as Grey in Bong Joon-ho’s dystopian thriller Snowpiercer, alongside Chris Evans and Octavia Spencer.

From 2014 to 2016, Pasqualino portrayed the swashbuckling d’Artagnan in the BBC’s The Musketeers, showcasing his sword-fighting skills and charisma.

He joined the cast of the BBC1 military drama Our Girl (2016–2020) as Elvis Harte, a Special Forces officer, though his appearances in later seasons were limited due to scheduling conflicts with Snatch (2017–2018), a Crackle series adaptation of Guy Ritchie’s film, where he played Albert Hill.

Pasqualino made his professional stage debut in 2019 with Berberian Sound Studio, portraying the sadistic Director Santini in a critically well-received production.

In 2021, he played David Kostyk in Netflix’s Shadow and Bone and appeared as a guest in Death in Paradise.

His recent roles include Basil “Bas” Baddingham in the Disney+/Hulu series Rivals (2024) and a part in the upcoming thriller Apart from Her.

Pasqualino also lent his voice to the animated The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024).
