Madison “Maddy” Siegrist, is an American professional basketball player currently playing as a forward for the Dallas Wings in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Siegrist’s journey began at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, where she earned the Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year title as a junior, averaging 21 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists per game.
As a senior, she upped her performance to an impressive 32.7 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, securing the award again.
After high school, Siegrist committed to Villanova University, where she redshirted her first year due to a broken ankle but emerged as a dominant force in subsequent seasons.
As a freshman in 2019-20, she averaged 18.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, earning Big East Freshman of the Year honors.

Her sophomore year saw her average 22.8 points and 9.8 rebounds, followed by a junior season where she averaged 25.3 points and 9.2 rebounds, leading the Big East in scoring.
In her senior year (2022-23), Siegrist became the nation’s leading scorer with 29.0 points per game, alongside 9.1 rebounds, breaking numerous records at Villanova and in the Big East.
Selected third overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2023 WNBA Draft, Siegrist began her professional career as a reserve, averaging 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in her rookie season.
Her sophomore year in 2024 showed significant improvement, with averages of 11 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1 assist per game, solidifying her role as a key contributor to the team.

She won the 2022-23 Katrina McClain Award as the nation’s top power forward and was named Big East Player of the Year twice (2021-22, 2022-23).
Siegrist earned four All-Big East First Team selections and was named the 2019-20 Big East Freshman of the Year.
She was recognized as an Associated Press First-Team All-American in 2022-23 and a Third-Team All-American in 2021-22, and she also received the Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Year award in both 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Additionally, she set the Villanova and Big East single-game scoring record with 50 points against Seton Hall on February 11, 2023.
In high school, she was a two-time Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year during her junior and senior years.
