Majida Issa, born Majida Margarita Issa Bellotto on June 27, 1981, in San Andrés, Colombia, is a renowned Colombian actress and singer of Lebanese and Italian descent.

Her multicultural background stems from her mother, Ylia Bellotto, who was born in Argentina to an Italian-Argentine father and a Colombian mother, and her father, Waydi Issa, whose parents were Lebanese immigrants to Colombia.

Growing up on the culturally diverse island of San Andrés, Issa developed a passion for the performing arts early on.

She pursued formal training by studying acting at the National School of Theatrical Art in Mexico, laying the foundation for her successful career in entertainment.

Issa comes from a family with deep roots in the acting world; she is the granddaughter of the legendary Colombian actress Teresa Gutiérrez and the niece of actor Miguel Varoni.
