    The iconic band Massive Attack is in mourning following the loss of their esteemed guitarist, Angelo Bruschini, who bravely battled lung cancer.

    The band confirmed his passing, prompting heartfelt tributes from his bandmates and a wide circle of family and friends.

    Expressing their profound sorrow, Massive Attack conveyed their admiration for Bruschini’s unique and eccentric musical talent.

    They highlighted the immense contribution he made to the Massive Attack legacy, an influence that defies quantification.

    The band reminisced about the extraordinary life journey they shared with Angelo Bruschini, considering themselves fortunate to have had the privilege of his partnership.

    Massive Attack wrote on X: “A singularly brilliant & eccentric talent. Impossible to quantify your contribution to the Massive Attack canon.

    “How lucky we were to share such a life together.”

    Angelo Bruschini, hailing from Bristol, became an integral part of Massive Attack in the 1990s, contributing significantly to their sound and artistic vision.

    Beyond his tenure with the band, Bruschini’s musical journey extended to collaborating with various groups and artists.

    Notably, he played a pivotal role in producing the eponymous album for the alternative rock band Strangelove in 1997.

    Bruschini also lent his guitar talents to Jane Taylor’s evocative track, “Blowing This Candle Out,” which was released in 2005.

    In July, Angelo Bruschini took to social media to reveal his battle with lung cancer and the heartfelt well-wishes he had received from numerous specialists.

As he faced the challenges of his illness, he contemplated the idea of penning a book, leaving a lasting legacy of his experiences and wisdom.
