Mitchell Aaron Starc is an Australian international cricketer born on 30 January 1990 in Baulkham Hills, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales.
A towering left-arm fast bowler standing at 197 centimetres, Starc is widely regarded as one of the most lethal white-ball bowlers of his generation and a formidable force in Test cricket.
Known for his express pace, swinging yorkers, and ability to deliver under pressure, he has been a mainstay of the Australian attack across all three formats for more than a decade.
He is married to Australian women’s cricket team vice-captain Alyssa Healy, forming one of the most celebrated sporting couples in the country.
Siblings
Mitchell is the son of Paul Starc and Deborah Starc, and he has a brother named Brandon Starc, who is younger than him.
Brandon is a highly accomplished athlete in his own right, having represented Australia as a high jumper.
He won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast and also claimed silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Career
Starc’s cricketing journey began at a young age, and he made his first-class debut for New South Wales in 2009.
His raw pace and left-arm angle quickly caught the attention of national selectors, and he made his ODI debut for Australia in October 2010 against India.
His Test debut followed in December 2011 against New Zealand at the Gabba, and he went on to make his T20 International debut in September 2012 against Pakistan.
