Nyali Member of Parliament and former journalist Mohamed Ali famed for doing investigative pieces has accused former employer KTN stating that its senior editors were killing stories before they are aired.

He accused Joe Ageyo, Joe Munene and Joe Odindo saying that they suppressed the independence of journalists at the station and that they should go home.He also said that the journalist who have now been dubbed ‘githeri media’ were innocent and only played to the tune of the senior editors.

For @KTNNews to change @jageyo Joe Munene and Joe Odindo must go. The journalist cant speak for themselves, they are innocent.

Mohamed Ali said that the Photoshop was orchestrated by the three senior editors who he had adversely mentioned on his resignation for stifling his efforts to air injustices with the investigative reports that he was doing at the media house.

I mentioned some 3 guys who are destroying @KTNNews in my resignation letter. Time for them to revenge! https://t.co/8aqB0swUPR

The legislators rant was also fueled by the fact that his former colleague Dennis Onsarigo who also does the investigative reports for the the same media house KTN took to twitter to say that a piece that he had prepared  on the events that followed the murder of IIEBC ICT manager manager Chris Musando.

#Loggedoutforever an investigation into the death of IEBC IT manager Chris Musando won’t be airing tonight @KTNNews as promised.

The piece was to be aired two days before the fresh elections, Mohamed Ali was seen comforting the former colleague encouraging him not to give up his quest for justice.

His former colleague and renowned journalist James Smart also echoed the sentiments of the Nyali legislator but supported KTN News  senior editor Joe Ageyo  but had a different vie of Joe Munene saying that he was as

I would say @jageyo is professional, Joe MUNENE on the other hand is useful as a pair of sunglasses to a bloke with one ear! https://t.co/crQrVmfVEm
