NASA through their lawyer, Amollo Otiende with reference to their ICT and statistics expert Dr. Nyagasi Onduwo have revealed a formula that they allege was used to rig the elections.
He indicated that the formula was Y= 1.2045x + 183456 where Y represented Uhuru Kenyatta and X Raila Odinga.
Dr. Nyagasi also indicated in his affidavit that the consistent linear outcome was a statistical impossibility. The I.C.T and statistics experts added it was impossible also for the results to start streaming in at 5:07 pm considering that polling stations closed at 5 pm.
The NASA lawyer based his submissions on various issues, such as extreme variations on rejected votes in the public portals and those indicated in the forms 34B.

He also submitted that there were a number of ungazzeted returning officers which would make the results invalid.
He referred to regulation 3 sub regulation 1 which states that any form that is signed by an ungazzeted member is deemed invalid.
He also submitted that there a number of polling stations that were also ungazzetted.
NASA put in a petition to challenge the presidential results.
