AFC Leopards have this afternoon benefitted from free three points and two goals after Nzoia Sugar failed to show up at Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega for a Kenyan Premier League match.

The early kick-off match was to start at 1.00pm to give way for a second fixture pitting Kakamega Homeboyz against Tusker FC at the same venue, but 30 minutes later there were no signs of Nzoia arriving prompting match day officials to give a walkover.

The walkover is the second this season after financially crippled Mount Kenya United dished out the first to Gor Mahia last week.

Nzoia fialed to make the trip Kakamega as they insisted that the match was initially booked at Mumias Complex and not Bukhungu. The KPL management, through the CEO Jack Oguda, on the other hand have made it known that Mumias Complex stands banned and is not fit to host matches.
