Only God can save Kenya after many failed pleas for dialogue, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said.

Speaking in Kitui, Musyoka noted that the country’s leadership should make dialogue a priority in order to stop Kenya from heading the South Sudan or Somalia way.

”I feel really pained about my country but I do not want to make any other plea. I think I have spoken enough. I am only but a Kenyan leader who feels concerned,” he said.

”Even the European Union met in Laxemberg and said dialogue among Kenyan leaders was not an option. I do not know why people are allergic to the truth. Kenya has gotten to a point where I throw my hands up and ask for God’s intervention,” the former Vice President added.

While in Mombasa, the Wiper party leader gave the President a seven day ultimatum to reach out to the opposition, a call that the Jubilee government is yet to heed to.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has in the past emphasized that the time to talk has passed and a time to act has come.

Kenyatta asked the opposition to wait till 2022 to dialogue on matters electoral reforms with Deputy President William Ruto who is likely to succeed him.
