    Police Teargas Nursery School Pupils In Kisumu

    BONDOPolice in Kisumu are said to have teargassed nursery school pupils at the Mount Carmel Academy in Nyalenda. There was heavy police presence in the lakeside city during the day to prevent the anti IEBC riots that have been witnessed in Kisumu for the passed two weeks

    The affected pupils who were teargassed received First Aid from the  Red Cross and those who were badly affected taken to the nearest hospital.

    Kenyans on twitter have condemned the police for meting this kind of violence on minors.

    Some however defended the police saying that those were Mungiki as no sane police officer would unleash such violence on children.

    Acting Interior CS banned the NASA protests in Nairobi,Mombasa and Kisumu
