The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) led by Raila Odinga on Friday lost two by-elections in Ugenya and Embakasi South.

Taking to Twitter, Deputy President William Rutoelbrates  congratulated the winners; MDG’s David Ochieng and Julius Mawathe of Wiper.

The self-proclaimed hustler was keen to note that the hustler nation had decided to overlook the so-called big fish and instead went with the little known individuals.

“CONGRATULATIONS Ochieng (Ugenya) & Mawathe (Embakasi) for your God given victory. Jameni wacheni MUNGU aitwe MUNGU. The hustler nation has spoken, the people have decided. GLORY TO THE ALMIGHTY GOD,” the DP wrote.

Also mocking the Raila led party was Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who is keen on taking on the DP for the top seat come 2022.

Kuria condoled with Odinga who is yet to declare his interest in running for the presidency for the fifth time.

“I send my condolences to Baba for losing both at home in Ugenya and away in Embakasi South. From the foregoing it is clear that 2022 is an outright two horse dead heat between William Ruto and myself. I seek your support Baba,” he wrote on Facebook.

The outspoken lawmaker also slammed National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale for allegedly lying to the African Union envoy.

“Donning a Jubilee shirt on the very day we know Baba ataoshwa. And now in 3 weeks we are taking Wajir West. Aden Duale Mungu anawaona. Lying is a crime. Lying to an old man is an abomination,” he added.

Odinga and Ruto have been tearing at each other for a while now with the latter accusing the former of trying to tear apart the ruling Jubilee party.

Odinga on the other hand has asked the DP and his allies to stop politicizing the fight against graft.
