Born on April 18, 2001, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he moved to Mexico at a young age and considers himself more Mexican than Argentine.

Known for his clinical finishing, physical presence, aerial ability, and sharp instincts inside the box, Giménez has established himself as one of the most promising young forwards in world football.

The siblings share a close relationship, with Agustina often appearing in family-oriented social media content alongside her brother.

    Career

Giménez began his professional career with Liga MX club Cruz Azul, making his debut as a teenager in 2017 alongside his father, Christian Giménez, in a friendly match.

He developed into a key player for the club, contributing to multiple domestic trophies including the Liga MX title that ended a long drought for the team.

In July 2022, he transferred to Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, where he quickly became a prolific goalscorer, helping the club win the league title, KNVB Cup, and Johan Cruyff Shield.

His impressive performances in the Netherlands led to a high-profile move to AC Milan in early 2025 for around €37 million.

At Milan, he has continued to adapt to the demands of Serie A while bringing his goal-scoring threat to one of Italy’s biggest clubs.

Internationally, Giménez chose to represent Mexico, debuting in 2021 and playing a crucial role in their CONCACAF Gold Cup successes.

    Accolades

With Cruz Azul, Giménez won the Liga MX title, multiple Copa MX and Supercopa MX trophies, Campeón de Campeones, and the Leagues Cup.

At Feyenoord, he secured the Eredivisie championship, the KNVB Cup, and the Johan Cruyff Shield.

With the Mexico national team, he has lifted the CONCACAF Gold Cup twice and contributed to Nations League successes.
