Kenya’s Shujaa finished 13th in the Cape Town 7s to pick three points.

In total the team has collected four points from the first two legs of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens serious.

Shujaa bagged their first Cape Town 7s win with a well worked 31-19 victory against Zimbabwe in the 13th place semifinal.

They then beat Wales 33-26 to finish 13th in the final.

In Dubai, the inaugural leg last weekend, Shujaa only managed a single point.

The team’s dismal performance has angered many fans who have questioned how the Kenya Rugby Union has been managing the national pride.

Most feel the new coach, Murunga, shouldn’t have overhauled the team but changed it slowly by blending youth and experience.

“Probably the seasoned players should be recalled and the new blood injected slowly,” Henry Gisairo tweeted.

“Did you have to change the whole squad? ? Including their coach really? When @benayimba won some series, you fired him, when @simiyu won last season after building a very good squad and sheer hardwork you fired him too!!! What’s your point? @OfficialKRU ?” Michael Wanjohi posed.
