Zinedine Zidane has pledged to return to coaching “soon” as rumors link him with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United.

The 46-year-old Frenchman has been out of active football since parting ways with LaLiga heavyweights Real Madrid May last year.

“I am sure that I will be coach again before long. This is what I like and what I have done all my life,” the World Cup gold medalist said.

Grapevine is rife that “Zizou” could be heading to floundering Manchester United, who have lost two of their last four Premier League games under manager Jose Mourinho.

Zidane had a successful short stint with Madrid, winning eight titles including three Champions League titles on the bounce.
