    2 Gangsters Suspected Of Killing Dreamline Bus Staff, Shot Dead In Mombasa

    Two suspected members of a criminal gang have been shot dead by police in Mikindani area, Mombasa County.

    Police believe the suspects are part of a gang that killed one of the Dreamline bus staff in Jomvu.

    Reports indicate the man was on his way home at around 11pm when he was attacked by the thugs, who fled with a getaway motorcycle.

    Changamwe OCPD Daudi Loronyokwe confirmed the incident saying the two had gone into hiding in Mikindani area after committing the crime.

    Police are said to have smoked them out of a local matatu heading to Mombasa town and killed them on the spot.

    On his part, Mombasa County Police Commissioner Johnson Ipara said on the suspects was identified as Simon Kinywa, a notorious criminal who has been terrorizing locals.

    Residents identified the other suspect as Jacob, who lived in the neighborhood and worked as a matatu taut.
