Kandara MP Alice Wahome on Thursday shed tears as she addressed the media over the killing of a boy whose mother could not meet initiation demands.
Postmortem results showed that Juliano Kanyonyo was hit with a blunt object on the head. This the legislator explained was because his mother offered the gang a “less presentable cock.”
She also noted that there are gangs terrorizing Murang’a county residents by recruiting initiates to their fold.
The illegal gangs are; Mungiki, 42 brothers, Usiku Sacco and Gaza.

The deceased who scored 376 marks in his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) also suffered a broken hand.
The Standard reports that the main suspect is a man selected by the deceased’s mother to mentor him after the initiation. He is said to have demanded Sh2000.
They had a falling out as she could not immediately raise the money.
Church leaders have also condemned the inhumane act and are seeking justice for the 15 year old boy.
