    Security agencies in Mombasa and Nairobi counties, acting on tip, arrested two suspects for drug trafficking.

    In Mombasa, Shee Hussein was seized Sunday from Magaoni area in Msambweni with 200 grammes of heroin.

    The anti-narcotic detectives had pounced in the notorious suspect while aboard a public service vehicle.

    “A quick search revealed 200 grams of heroin stashed hidden in his left trouser pocket,” police said.

    At least 19 rolls of Cannabis sativa were seized from his house during a further search.

    He sits behind bars at Kilindini Port Police, undergoing processing, awaiting his day in court.

    In a similar operation, ANU detectives domiciled at DCI Headquarters in Nairobi arrested one Henry Njogu during a raid ay at Kabati, Murang’a County.

    Njogu was intercepted while driving a salon car.

    A search of his residence uncovered 21 sacks of Cannabis sativa.

    He was held atMutahiga Police Station, awaiting arraignment in court

    In Usenge, Saya County’s authorities seized Francis Odhiambo Ochieng, alias Odhis with 4,600 rolls of bhang.

    Odhis is now in custody, undergoing processing ahead of his court appearance.

    Police have intensified operations targeting drug trafficking and consumption in general.

    This is aimed at addressing the crimes.
