Prof George Magoha, Chairman of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board has apologized to CitizenGO, a human rights group that complained about abortion on demand services offered by Marie Stopes. Magoha was put to task by the body’s Campaigns Manager Ann Kioko who demanded that he resigns after KMPDB lifted the post-abortion services ban on December 20, 2018. Lamba Lolo hit maker Swat was caught by neighbors as he he tried to break into a house. The wife of Gospel singer Bamboo, Erica Mukisa has revealed that before she saw the light she practiced sorcery. Revealing the details of her life, the Ugandan national has authored a book titled Erica Part One: Seven Years in Hell. Joseph Kori, husband of brutally murdered Mary Wambui Kamangara is attending her burial. Ms Kamangara is said to have been killed by Kori’s mistress, Judy Wangui at her Four Ways Junction rented apartment on January 26. Her body would a day later be found in Juja. An autopsy report shows that the deceased died of strangulation and a head injury. The burial is underway at the Mweiga Airstrip, Nyeri County. Angry protesters on Saturday morning blocked the narrow Beijing Road, Syokimau. The irate residents explained that a clearing and forwarding company identified as Acceler Global Logistics has turned the road into a parking lot for its trucks. Travelers plying the Uganda-Rwanda border were left stranded since Wednesday after the Gatuna border was closed. Government spokesman Ofwono Opondo accused Rwanda of refusing to allow both private and public vehicles from entering Uganda since Wednesday evening. H said that even school going children were being denied from crossing to Uganda for school. Two American teenagers are in custody after they allegedly shot a Kenyan living in Texas on the head and made away with his car. The Kenyan, whose identity is yet to be revealed is said to have sustained serious head injuries and is admitted at an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). CCTV footage obtained from the scene of crime show the minors aged 14 and 16 shot the man in the head and moments later drive off in his red car parked outside his home. A class six pupil was on Thursday confirmed dead after he was allegedly kicked by a teacher. The Mikuyuni Primary School pupil was rushed to Kibwezi AMREF Sub-county Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Confirming the incident was Kibwezi Sub-County Police Commander Ben Changulo who noted that investigations into the incident are on-going. “It’s true the pupil has passed on at the facility but we will let the investigating team to tell us what caused his death,” Mr Changulo said. Two people have been arrested in Ruiru following a police raid. Officers discovered fake money both in shillings and foreign currencies estimated to be Sh32 billion. Also found in the house were pieces of gold and a licensed gun. Joseph Munyao was apprehended alongside Nancy Muthoni in Kwihota.
