Airtel Kenya has joined the campaign against infant mortality in Kenya by donating 25 space heaters to various Kiambu County hospitals. The donation is an initiative aimed at reducing the mortality rate of new born babies in Kenya. The room heaters will be placed in newborn units (NBU), labor wards, maternities and delivery rooms to keep newborns warm immediately after birth. A Kameme FM presenter, Moses Mwana wa Kanyira, allegedly assaulted kids and called them names because their father is a Luo. Moses was allegedly angered by the kids after they insulted his daughter. A pilot of the Kenya Air Force plane which was running sorties inside Somalia is still missing almost 24 hours after being shot in an area believed to be controlled by Al-Shabaab. Major Jonathan Kingu Otongo was flying the F-5 fighter jet when the plane was struck by what is believed to be Al-Shabaab’s anti-aircraft missiles. Safaricom always uses the gullible journalists with no technical knowledge to launch products which they know don’t exist. Safaricom still has the worst quality of network. A 41 year old British man named Carl Singleton is being held by Gigiri police accused of killing the Kenyan student she met through Facebook. The man is said to have killed the woman after flushing her diabetic medicine down the toilet. Carl was on last weekend arrested on suspicion of murdering 22-year-old Peris Ashley Agumbi Mumtah, a student at the University of Nairobi.
