A suspected poacher was shot and injured in a confrontation with police along Kehancha-Isebania road in Kuria, Migori County. Police said they recovered eight pieces of ivory weighing 30 kilograms and valued at Sh3 million from the suspect in the Saturday afternoon drama. A police officer was shot and injured before being robbed of his gun in an attack in Samburu County. The incident happened on Saturday November 9 evening as police confronted a gang that was loading to transport stolen cows in a lorry from Moyale to Nairobi, police said. Gunmen in a truck pulled up to a bar in central Mexico and opened fire, killing 10 people, authorities said, in an area that had been spared the worst of the country’s raging criminal violence. Haitian Prime Minister Garry Conille was fired by the country’s ruling council less than six months after he took office.  An executive order, signed by eight of the council’s nine members, named businessman and former Haiti Senate candidate Alix Didier Fils-Aime as Conille’s replacement. A Sudanese student linked to a murder incident at the Shiners Boys High School in Nakuru County was arrested hours after the incident.  The student was reportedly lured back to the school after he travelled overnight to Nairobi shortly after allegedly stabbing a classmate in an altercation on Saturday. A 25-year-old man was Saturday November 9 night shot and killed in a robbery incident in Eastleigh, Nairobi.  The family of Abdirahim Abdullahi Ibrahim, 25, said he was meeting his girlfriend on Saturday night in one of the streets in Eastleigh when an unknown assailant approached them and pulled the trigger at point blank. Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Gilbert Masengeli flew to Isiolo after gunmen shot and killed three herders in the area.  Gunmen believed to be cattle rustlers shot and killed three herders in a village in Isiolo County. Five other herders were injured in the two separate incidents, police said. Police in Gilgil, Nakuru County are looking for a student at Shiners Boys High School, who allegedly stabbed to death his classmate on Saturday night. This followed an altercation between students, police and other students said. Four candidates are reported to have differed over personal items destroyed in school, leading to the incident that happened  at about 8 pm.
