A suspected poacher was shot and injured in a confrontation with police along Kehancha-Isebania road in Kuria, Migori County. Police said they recovered eight pieces of ivory weighing 30 kilograms and valued at Sh3 million from the suspect in the Saturday afternoon drama. A Sudanese student linked to a murder incident at the Shiners Boys High School in Nakuru County was arrested hours after the incident.  The student was reportedly lured back to the school after he travelled overnight to Nairobi shortly after allegedly stabbing a classmate in an altercation on Saturday. Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Gilbert Masengeli flew to Isiolo after gunmen shot and killed three herders in the area.  Gunmen believed to be cattle rustlers shot and killed three herders in a village in Isiolo County. Police in Gilgil, Nakuru County are looking for a student at Shiners Boys High School, who allegedly stabbed to death his classmate on Saturday night. This followed an altercation between students, police and other students said.
