Police are looking for two suspects connected to the murder of a motorcyclist who was found dead at a homestead in Garsiake area, Buna, Wajir County. The deceased identified as Ahmed Duba, 36 was on the Moyale-Buna Road on Thursday November 28 when his motorcycle developed a tyre puncture in Garsiake area. Canada’s Competition Bureau is suing Google for alleged anti-competitive conduct in its online advertising. In a statement, the country’s antitrust watchdog alleged Google had illegally linked two advertising tools to maintain market supremacy and used this dominant position to distort ad auctions by preferring its own tools. The Nairobi Expressway made a loss of Sh1.2 billion in the past financial year, underscoring the risk in Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) as an alternative to traditional financing models.  Data from the Treasury shows that the expressway generated revenue worth Sh4.6 billion from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, compared to the operational costs totalling Sh5.8 billion. Police are looking for a gang that broke into a supermarket in Kabiyet, Nandi County, and stole Sh800,000. The gang is also said to have escaped with assorted goods valued at about Sh500,000. Police said the owner of Uzuri Supermarket located in Kabiyet Township reported unknown people broke into the facility and stole the cash and valuables. A female construction worker died after falling from the sixth floor of a house under construction in Nairobi’s Pangani area. Police said Jackline Auma, 35 was among almost a dozen workers at the site when the incident happened on November 26 evening.
