DCI detectives have arrested three suspects at Archers Post in Samburu County for being in possession of bhang. In a statement, DCI said the trio was trafficking 196 kilograms of bhang valued at 5.9 million shillings. Police explained that the substance was carefully concealed beneath sacks of beans in a trailer (Registration number KCZ 198E). A man has been arrested after crashing a vehicle into a gate outside the White House complex, the US Secret Service said. The incident occurred shortly before 18:00 local time (23:00 GMT). The “vehicle collided with an exterior gate”, Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi posted on X, formerly Twitter. President Joe Biden was not in Washington DC and was travelling from South Carolina to Texas. No injuries were reported in the Monday evening incident. At least 15 people were Tuesday morning killed in a grisly accident involving a bus and 14-seater matatu along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway, police said. The victims included eight adults and seven children including five girls. At least 38 others escaped unhurt in the crash, police said. Controversial influencer Andrew Tate won an appeal in a Romanian court as he seeks the return of assets which have been seized by authorities. Mr Tate is being investigated in the country over allegations of human trafficking and rape, which he denies. A woman who was captured on camera harassing staff at a hospital in Busia County was Monday charged with assault.  Lenny Vanessa Ogema was also charged with causing malicious damage to property and issuing threats of injury to persons employed in the public service. At least three people were Monday killed in an accident involving a matatu and stalled lorry at Kisaju area on the Namanga-Nairobi road. Police said the accident happened at about 6.30 am as the matatu ferried passengers to Kitengela direction. Police are investigating the death of a 66-year-old Dutch national in a hotel, Mtwapa, Kilifi County. Michael Heinz Gobel collapsed in the bathroom where he was taking a shower on Saturday evening before he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was with his wife and they had checked into the country on December 1, 2023. They were to leave the area on March 1, 2024, officials said. The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy. At least six police officers from the Special Operations Group were injured when their vehicle was involved in an accident in Kotile, Ijara, Garissa County.
