Five police officers are set to be arraigned in court on Wednesday, September 8, over the death of a man at Changamwe Police Station, Mombasa County. Caleb Ospino Otieno died hours after he was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of illegal alcohol – Changáa at Mikindani on September 18, 2018. A 33-year-old woman linked to a series of fraudulent sales of hired motor vehicles has been arrested in Kiambu. The 18 rolls of bhang had been seized from a suspected drug dealer on Tuesday, August 31. Kenya on Thursday received a boost in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic after receiving 358,200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from the Canadian government. The consignment donated through the COVAX facility arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Aiport (JKIA) on Thursday morning.
