Commissions Commission of Kenya (CCK)  has signed an MoU with the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) and United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK) in support of the creation of a Web Portal for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to provide relevant content to persons involved in the disability field.

This initiative is part of the Ksh35 million project that the Commission launched last year which involved setting up eight (8) school-based ICT centres for Persons with Disability across the country.

A second MoU has been signed between the Commission and the Kenya National Library Services (KNLS) in a project that will support the establishment of ten (10) ICT centres in KNLS community libraries in rural areas to facilitate increased access to communication services.
