DP Ruto Is Just A Pathological Liar – ODM Party Responds

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party has dismissed claims that former premier Raila Odinga is trying to dislodge him (Ruto) from Jubilee.

In a statement signe by ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, the party terms Ruto as a pathological liar who survives on sympathy.

“It is easy to ignore and dismiss a pathological liar like William Ruto, but we have seen before that he is not just the greatest liar in our politics, but one so adept at mining sympathy that he will leave audiences marveling at his “triumph” over non existent adversity,” writes Sifuna.

“We know Ruto is not known to build anything from scratch but rides on the sweat of others, and for his ilk, siege mentality works just fine, as seen by his previous use of the Mau and Hague issues for political capital.”

Sifuna has rubbished claims that Ruto was removed from ODM by Raila, saying that he left the party after failing to grasp the seat of Deputy Prime minister during the coalition government.

The statement further states that Ruto’s major problem is character and not anyone in the political arena.

“Ruto’s problem is character. Not Jubilee, not ODM, not Uhuru Kenyatta and certainly not Raila Odinga. The mirror may have more answers for him, but he doesn’t look or sound like one to take advice, even from the humble mirror,” adds Sifuna.

Earlier on, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed accused the Deputy President of using ODM party leader Raila Odinga as a scapegoat as he plans on exiting Jubilee Party.

The ODM politicians are responding to an incidence where Ruto accused Raila of planning to kick him out of Jubilee Party.Ruto while speaking in Kisauni said that there is a plot to edge him out Jubilee as they did while he was in ODM.

“I was also in ODM and they kicked me out after issuing me with show cause letter as they have done to Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori. But I want to tell them, you cannot eject me from ODM then follow me and have me out of Jubilee. That is impossible,” the DP said.
