Elliot Millar-Mills is a professional rugby union player born on 8 July 1992 in Stockport, England.
Standing at 1.78 metres and weighing around 121 kilograms, he plays as a tighthead prop.
He qualifies for Scotland through his mother, Elspeth, who was born in Hamilton, Scotland, while his father is English.
He attended University College London and began his rugby journey at local clubs including Manchester Rugby Club, Stockport and Macclesfield.
As of mid-2026 he has earned multiple caps for Scotland since his debut in 2024 and has been a regular in the English Premiership, most recently with Northampton Saints before agreeing a move to Newcastle Red Bulls.
Siblings
Elliot is the youngest of three rugby-playing siblings. His older sisters are Harriet Millar-Mills and Bridget Millar-Mills.
Harriet, born in 1991, represented England as a back-row forward, earning 66 caps between 2011 and her final international appearance around 2021 before retiring from playing in 2025.
She featured in the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup, won multiple Women’s Six Nations titles and played club rugby for sides including Lichfield, Firwood Waterloo, Wasps, Exeter Chiefs and Harlequins.
Bridget chose Scotland, like her brother, and was capped by the Scotland women’s team, making her debut in 2013.
The sisters made history in the 2013 Women’s Six Nations when they faced each other in an England versus Scotland match, becoming the first sisters to oppose one another in a full international rugby fixture.

Career
Millar-Mills progressed through amateur and lower-tier professional ranks before establishing himself at the top level.
Early senior appearances came with Yorkshire Carnegie (later Leeds Carnegie) in the Championship during the 2016-17 season.
He moved to Edinburgh Rugby for 2017-18, making a handful of appearances, before joining Ealing Trailfinders in the RFU Championship, where he played regularly between 2018 and 2021 and contributed to the club’s Championship Cup success.
In 2021 he stepped up to Premiership Rugby with Wasps.
When Wasps entered administration in October 2022 he was among the players made redundant.
Short subsequent stints followed with Bath, a brief return to Edinburgh and an appearance for the Barbarians before he signed for Northampton Saints ahead of the 2023-24 season.
At Saints he became a useful squad member, featuring regularly as the club won the Gallagher Premiership title in 2024 and reached the Investec Champions Cup final the following season.
In January 2026 he agreed a two-year deal to join Newcastle Red Bulls from the 2026-27 campaign.
Internationally he was called into the Scotland squad for the 2024 Six Nations, making his debut as a replacement in a narrow victory over Wales in Cardiff.
He earned his first start later that year against Canada and has continued to feature for Scotland, accumulating further caps through 2025 and into 2026.
Accolades
At club level Millar-Mills was part of the Northampton Saints side that lifted the Gallagher Premiership trophy in 2024 and reached the Champions Cup final.
Earlier he helped Ealing Trailfinders win the Championship Cup.
For Scotland he has collected more than a dozen caps since 2024, including appearances in the Six Nations and summer tours, and has been involved in notable results such as the victory over Wales that ended a long winless run in Cardiff.
