Scouts from Scotland giants Glasgow Rangers will attend international friendly between Everton and Gor Mahia at Goodson Park on 6 November 2018 in Liverpool.

Gor’s Malta-born English manager Dylan Kerr confirmed the exciting news in a tweet on Friday.

The record 17-time Kenyan champions earned a ticket to face the Premier League side having retained their Sportpesa Super Cup title this year against Simba SC of Tanzania.

Both Everton and Gor Mahia are sponsored by gaming giants Sportpesa.

Gor last faced Everton in a 2-1 loss in Dar Es Salaam in 2016 in a match former England international Wayne Rooney scored a spectacular goal.

K’Ogalo’s goal was delivered by Rwandan international Jacques Tuyisenge.

Gor, who reached the group stage of the 2018 CAF Confederation for the first time in over three decades, are expected to use the friendly to warm-up for the new KPL season.

The team has already bagged the 2018 KPL crown with six matches to spare and will represent Kenya in the CAF Champions League next season starting later this year.
