    Governor Sonko Plan To Decongest The City Not Political

    Governor Sonko has said that the move to decongest the city not to be political and has castigated both sides of the political divide against politicising the move.

    According to the new governor,his long term plan is decongesting the CBD so as to facilitate the construction of underground parking systems.

    Governor Sonko also asked the media not to misrepresent the issue of decongestion.He said that the plans to decongest the city were temporary as they tried to find a lasting solution that will make things easier for all people.

    The Governor also denied claims that the directive was a scheme for cartels to harness more revenue so as to let matatus into the the central business district.
