Wright began his professional journey with the New York Cosmos in 2015.
He moved to Europe in 2016, joining Schalke 04 in Germany, where he developed in their youth and reserve systems.
He gained senior experience through loans and moves to clubs like VVV-Venlo in the Dutch Eredivisie, SønderjyskE in the Danish Superliga, and Antalyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig.
These stops helped him adapt to different styles of play and build his goal-scoring record.
In 2023, he transferred to Coventry City in the English Championship, where he has been a consistent performer and goal threat, helping the club compete at a high level.
