Ginger shots are small, concentrated drinks made from fresh ginger root, known for boosting immunity, improving digestion, and fighting inflammation. These powerful health shots are easy to make at home using a few simple ingredients and are perfect for starting your day with a natural energy boost. Here is how to make ginger shots.

    1. Gather Your Ingredients and Materials
To make ginger shots, you will need fresh ginger root (about 4 to 6 inches), one lemon, a small amount of water (¼ cup), and honey or turmeric (optional). You’ll also need a blender or juicer, a strainer or cheesecloth, a knife, a grater (if not using a blender), and a small jar or shot glass.
    2. Wash and Prepare the Ginger
Rinse the ginger root thoroughly under water to remove any dirt. Peel the skin using the edge of a spoon or a small knife. Chop the ginger into small pieces to make it easier to blend or juice. If using a grater, grate the ginger finely.
    3. Blend or Juice the Ingredients
If you’re using a blender, add the chopped or grated ginger into the blender with the water. Squeeze in the juice of one lemon and blend until smooth. If you have a juicer, simply feed the ginger through the juicer and mix the juice with freshly squeezed lemon juice afterward.
    4. Strain the Juice
Once blended, pour the mixture through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container to remove the pulp. Press or squeeze to extract as much liquid as possible. You can stir in a teaspoon of honey for sweetness or a pinch of turmeric for added health benefits.
    5. Store and Drink
Pour the juice into small bottles or shot glasses. Drink one shot in the morning or whenever you need a quick pick-me-up. Store any extra shots in the fridge for up to three days in a sealed container.
