    Police Throw Out Journalists From JKIA; Says There Is No Function

    JKIAAirport Police Unit at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have thrown out journalists who had thronged the pace for a press briefing by NASA leaders.

    The Journalist were at JKIA after the NASA coalition gave itinerary of the events that would precede the arrival of NASA chief Raila Odinga which included a briefing by the leaders at the airport at noon.

    National Resistance Movement itinerary for today, Thursday 16th November:
    •12:00 noon – Press conference at JKIA
    •1:00pm – Roadshow from JKIA to Shauri Moyo
    •2:00pm – Rally, Kamukunji Grounds, Kamukunji

    Mr. Richard Omanga who is the Head of the Unit said that there would not be any press briefing without prior arrangements .

    Yesterday the 15th November, IG Boinnet released a press statement warning NASA supporters against going to meet Odinga at the airport claiming it will jeopardize security.

    A huge contingent of GSU police officers have been deployed at JKIA who are conducting and heavy searches on vehicles entering the International airport.

    NASA have since reschedule their rally to Kibera after the Kamukunji grounds were sealed by police this morning.
