The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption along a section of the Mombasa Road (A8) corridor between Airtel Complex and General Motors to allow for infrastructure works over the weekend.
In a statement, KeNHA Director General Luka Kimeli said the Nairobi-bound carriageway along the affected section will be temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate the installation of fabricated footbridge beams for the Airtel Footbridge.
The closure will be in effect on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00 pm to Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 10:00 am.
