    Kenya Veterinary Board Advertises Jobs

    The Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) has advertised several job opportunities as it seeks to recruit qualified professionals to various positions.

    In a notice, the Board said it is recruiting for the positions of Assistant Director, Finance and Accounts; Assistant Director, Internal Audit and Risk Assurance; Assistant Director, Human Resource Management; Principal Supply Chain Management Officer; Planning Officer; and Corporate Communication Officer.

    Other vacancies are Finance and Accounts Officer, Animal Health Officer, Assistant Animal Health Technologist, Animal Health Technician and Veterinary Officer.

    Interested and qualified candidates have been required to submit their applications online through the Kenya Veterinary Board recruitment portal accessible via the Board’s official website.

    The application deadline is October 7, 2026, at 5pm.

    KVB announces pre-registration examination

    Meanwhile, the Kenya Veterinary Board has announced the dates for the pre-registration examination for Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Paraprofessionals.

    The examination is scheduled to take place from November 12 to November 13, 2026.

    The Board said graduates who were not indexed in Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) and Animal Health courses at certificate, diploma and degree levels should apply.

    Applications for the examination will be made through the KVB Practitioner Management System (PMS).

    The application fee is Sh1,000.

    Successful applicants will subsequently be notified to register and pay an examination fee of Sh9,500.
