The Fuel prices have once again increased following the latest review by the Energy regulatory commission. The energy regulator said that the reason for the increase was a result of the increase in the average landed costs.
The average landed cost increased which higher from the rate that was posted in July of the same year. The Energy regulator also said that the increase was due to the appreciation of the dollar to the Kenya shilling.
The dollar which was at Ksh.103.12 in September has had a 0.37 %increase to exchange at Ksh.103.51
The price of petrol has increased by Ksh 1.03,the price of diesel will go up by Ksh.3.70 while the price of kerosene will increase by Ksh.5.50.the increase in the price will take place as from midnight of Tuesday November 14.
