    Miguna’s Citizenship In Disarray As Government Appeals High Court Decision

    The government has said that it will appeal the decision against the revocation of the deportation of Miguna Miguna by Justice Luka Kimaru .

    Interior PS Karanja Kibicho said that as much as the government respects the courts decision it still holds the decision that the deportation was done according to laid down procedure.

    PS Kibicho said that the request of the court to have the department of immigration deposit Miguna’s passport at the court room was not in the best interest of the country.

    He also said that the governments legal team is reviewing the decision of the High court and will be appealing the decision.
