Mount Kenya United could dish out another walkover to Zoo FC on Sunday, Kahawa Tungu has established.

The team is currently assembling at the City Stadium for final training before they hit the road to Kericho for their league game against Zoo at the Green Stadium.

But the players have vowed not the make the trip without pay.

Speaking to our sports desk this morning, one player, who did not want to be mentioned, said that they have gone close to seven months without salaries and they cannot take it no more.

“Ni Kubaya (the situation is very bad), we have not been paid for like seven months now and we have had enough,” said the player.

“We went to meet the governor (Mike Sonko) yesterday at least to see if he could come to our rescue but unfortunately we didn’t find him,” he added.

The players, who failed to show up for their last fixture against Gor Mahia on Thursday hence handing the defending champions three easy points, have vowed not to leave for Kericho without money in their pockets.
