MultiChoice Kenya and Uchumi Supermarkets have officially announced a partnership that allows customers of MultiChoice Kenya to make their subscription payments at Uchumi branches. The partnership commences at 8 Uchumi branches initially and will soon be available at all branches across the country.

This service was introduced to provide increased access by DStv subscribers to innovative and convenient payment solutions that fit their lifestyles and locations – enabling them to continue to enjoy access to the high quality entertainment available on DStv. Subscribers will be able to make their payments in local currency at specially assigned tills or counters at their preferred Uchumi branch. Following payment, their services will be automatically reconnected – provided their decoders are on.

The partnership was seen as a mutually-beneficial arrangement by the supermarket chain, who have found in this agreement, ways in which to offer added value to their customers and provide a truly one-stop-shop for their shopping needs.
