Career
Hiedeman’s basketball career began to take shape at Green Bay Southwest High School, where she emerged as the leading scorer in the Green Bay metro area with 1,773 points.
Her exceptional performance earned her a spot at Marquette University, where she played from 2015 to 2019.

At Marquette, Hiedeman became a standout guard, finishing her collegiate career as the program’s third all-time leading scorer with 1,913 points and the first player to make 300 three-pointers.
In 2019, Hiedeman was selected 18th overall in the second round of the WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx, though her rights were quickly traded to the Connecticut Sun.
She spent five seasons with the Sun, establishing herself as a reliable guard with a knack for clutch performances.
In 2024, she returned to the Minnesota Lynx, where she continues to contribute as a shooting guard, averaging 4.9 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game in the 2024 season.
Hiedeman has also played overseas, including stints with Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan in Israel and Inner Mongolia in the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA).
Her versatility has shone through in her dual role as a player and coach, with her promotion to assistant coach at Penn State in August 2023 marking a significant step in her career off the court.

As a freshman, she secured a spot on the Big East All-Freshman Team, and in the 2017-18 season, she was named to the Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List, recognizing her as one of the top shooting guards in the nation.
In the WNBA, Hiedeman’s contributions helped the Minnesota Lynx win the 2024 Commissioner’s Cup, adding a professional championship to her resume.
Her high school achievements include AP First Team All-State honors, Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year accolades, as well as the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division 2 All-State First Team recognition.
