Police officers get a salary increment starting end of July after the Police Service Commission and the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) came to an understanding.
The was apparently a go slow in the force but was kept under wraps. The new structure will see the lowest paid officer get a 19% pay increment translating into 40,000.

High ranking men in uniform will get a 6 per cent increment which means that they will be making close to 300, 000.
