    PSC Announces Nationwide Recruitment Drive for Over 750 Govt Vacancies

    The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a large-scale recruitment exercise, advertising more than 750 vacant positions across various government departments.

    In a notice dated May 5, 2026, the Commission invited qualified Kenyans to apply for the positions, targeting both serving officers seeking career advancement and new entrants into the public service.

    “Applications are invited from qualified persons for the positions shown below. The details of the posts and mode of application can be accessed on the Commission’s website www.publicservice.go.ke,” the notice read.

    The vacancies include 434 senior and mid-level positions ranging from Secretaries and Directors to Assistant Directors. These roles cut across key sectors including Internal Security, Correctional Services, National Treasury, Roads, Public Works, Housing, Agriculture, Livestock, Gender, and Broadcasting.

    In addition, the PSC is seeking to fill 330 entry-level positions, among them Weights and Measures Officers, Trade Development Officers, Cooperative Officers, Information Officers, and Lecturers.

    According to the Commission, interested applicants are required to submit their applications online through the official PSC website www.publicservice.go.ke or via the job portal www.psckjobs.go.ke.

    The PSC further announced that all applications must be submitted on or before May 26, 2026, by 5:00 pm East African Time.
