Rachel Agatha Keen, known professionally as Raye, is a British singer, songwriter, and producer born on October 24, 1997, in Tooting, London.

Raised in a musical household with Ghanaian-Swiss and English heritage, Raye’s early exposure to gospel music through her father’s role as a musical director shaped her soulful sound.

She gained prominence with her versatile vocal range and genre-blending style, spanning pop, R&B, and electronic music.

Raye first caught attention as a teenager with her debut EP, Welcome to the Winter, in 2014, and has since become a celebrated figure in the UK music scene.

Raye’s younger brother, Samuel Keen, is less public but has been mentioned in interviews as a supportive figure in her life.
