A University of Nairobi Accountant, Daniel Owuor Onyango, has been charged with stealing up to Sh4.4 million from the institution’s Sacco.
Mr Owuor is being charged for withdrawing Sh 4,437,600 from Chuna Sacco Society Limited together with other accomplices who did not appear before the court.

The accused appeared before Chief Magistrate, Francis Andayi where he denied the charges and was released on a Sh 500,000 bond.
The case be mentioned within two weeks to allow for the prosecution to gather witness statements and allow the suspect be furnished with all the witness statements to prepare his defence.
