Women leaders allied to Jubilee p[arty  have come to defend Alice Wahome, they claim that the DPP is persecuting her by asking for her arrest. They say the IEBC did not bother to call  the Kandara MP for her to give her statement on the issue.

The women leaders who were led by Ruth Wangari have accused the IEBC and the DPP of following the winds of social media which they said was unfair.

They said that police failed to act even when she called for their help

The women leaders also castigated the media saying that they were not keen on verifying the incident and the events that took place.

They said that the arrest of Alice Wahome will be resisted and that the DPP should come all of them.

A video emerged on social media showing the Kandara Member of parliament assaulting a returning officer, Mr. Malonza after her refused to heed to her call to verify results as an agent of the jubilee party during the fresh presidential election.
