Zimbabwe piped Kenya’s Shujaa 17-5 to bag the 2018 Africa 7s title at Jemmal Stadium, Tunisia Sunday.

Both side went into the match unscathed, having won all their previous matches but it was Zimbabwe, who drew the first blood with a converted try from Shingirai Katsvere.

Shujaa responded through Brian Wahinya on the stroke of half time but the conversion was not good enough.

Tafadzwa Chitokwindo crossed the line for ZIM’s second try in the second half, but the conversion went wide.

Chitokwindo graced a brace with two minutes to go to seal the win.

Neighbors Uganda beat Madagascar 24-19 to pick bronze while Zambia won Plate with a 12-0 win over Mauritius.
