Police and officials from Independent Policing Oversight Authority are investigating claims a suspect died by suicide at the Aram police cells, Siaya County. The body of Walter Ombewa Odhiambo was discovered Friday July 11 evening long after he had died. He was the only suspect at the cells at the time of the incident, police said. A 26-year-old man was stabbed and killed in an argument over a woman in Soweto, Kayole, Nairobi. The deceased, identified as Dennis Kibe had earlier on approached and informed his assailant that he had dropped his wife at home. The assailant who is a bodaboda rider in the area was agitated by the claims and confronted Kibe prompting a fight. A suspect linked to the fatal stabbing of a policeman outside a bar in Muhuru Bay, Nyatike, Migori County was arrested at the Kenya-Tanzania border. Police said one Fredrick Okinyi alias Boy, 25 was arrested at Kona 7 Trading Center while trying to cross to Tanzania. This was almost 15 hours after he had stabbed the policeman and killed him in the same area. The area is near the main Kenya-Tanzania border. A man was killed and his body set on fire on claims he had a relationship with a married woman in Wendano village, Tala, Machakos County. The assailant is the husband to the woman at the center of the saga, police said. A flight travelling from Cancun, Mexico, to London was forced to divert and land in Maine this week after two passengers on board began fighting.
