Isiolo High Court Judge Cherere Thripsisa Wanjiku Wamae and her bodyguard were Monday injured in a road accident on Eldama Ravine-Nakuru Highway.  This was after her car rolled into ditch, Mogotio police boss Felician Nafula confirmed. The two were rushed to hospital in a serious condition. The Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary (OPCS) alongside the Ministry of Interior and National Administration (MINA) are set to begin verifying selected government projects across the country.  The exercise is set staff Tuesday, September 10 and run until Saturday, September 14, a statement said. The OPCS, through the National Government Coordination Secretariat (NGCS), is tasked with overseeing the process, which will begin in Eastern and Coast regions. A second Shakahola massacre suspect died in hospital while undergoing treatment. Edison Safari Munyambo alias Baba Sifa died a few days ago at a Mombasa hospital where he was undergoing treatment after a short illness. He is the second accused person to die in custody after Mary Charo Mbita, who died at Coast Teaching and Referral Hospital. A gang broke into a private home in Parklands, Nairobi and stole Sh800,000 and other assorted goods. The gang also grabbed assorted jewelry, a HP laptop, a Lenovo laptop, two Casio wristwatches, two mobile phones and other goods, police and the owners of the home said. The family had gone to a temple for prayers on Saturday evening when the incident happened at an apartment on Ita Road. Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man whose decomposed body was found in his house in Tasia, Embakasi, Nairobi. Samson Abulo had not reported to work for a week prompting his employer to send a rider to check on him. It was then on Sunday September 8 when the rider stumbled on the decomposed body in the house. The victims are students at Moi University Annex campus. Police are investigating the cause of a fire at Uhuru Secondary School, Nairobi. Two dormitories housing 105 form three students were burnt down in the incident on Sunday September 8 morning. Three people have been killed in an attack at the border between Jordan and the occupied West Bank, Israeli officials say. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said three Israeli civilians were killed in the shooting at the Allenby Bridge crossing.
