    Baringo County Assembly Speaker Kassait Kamket Arrested at JKIA Over Kapedo Massacre

    The speaker of Baringo County assembly, Kassait Kamket,was last night arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after being linked with the Kapedo Massacre. The speaker was on his way to Istanbul Turkey when he was arrested. It is not clear if he was going for official or personal matters.

    Four people including three police officers, were killed after raiders ambushed them on Saturday afternoon in Kapedo in Turkana County. The General Service Unit (GSU) officers were on a mission to rescue other police officers  who were being held hostage by bandits.
