    Body of missing driver found dumped in thicket in Makueni

    The body of a lorry driver who was missing was found dumped on the roadside in Kasyelia, Makueni County.

    The body of Peter Kianga, 28 was found dumped in a thicket off the Masii-Tawa road on Christmas Eve after his murder.

    His legs and hands were tied using shoe laces while the neck had an elastic rubber band around it. His head seemed to have been hit with a blunt object and blood oozing from the mouth.

    The body was also covered with a grey sheet and it is suspected that the deceased was murdered elsewhere and the body dumped at the scene.

    The lorry he had been driving was found abandoned along Tawa-Matuu road, police said.

    The motive of the murder was not known, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary.

    In Kingeero, Kabete, Kiambu County, one Clinton Waitii, 25 was fatally stabbed in an altercation with a colleague at the Mwimuto Fresh Farm Produce Market.

    He was found bleeding minutes after his attack and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

    The motive of the attack was not known. Police said a suspect was arrested over the incident and that the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

    And police are pursuing a gang that killed a boda boda rider before stealing his motorcycle in Pap Ndege area.

    The body of Varon Okinyi, 25 was found dumped near the Kabunde airstrip after his murder.

    The motorcycle he was riding was missing, police said.

    The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and hunt on the assailants and robbers.

    in Savane area, Kakamega County, one Eugene Imiri, 25 was found murdered and his body dumped in a ditch.

    Witnesses told police a gang of about 20 had invaded his house and forced him out. They tied and tortured him to death.

    The motive was not immediately known. police were called to the scene and moved the body to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations. No arrest had been made by Boxing Day even as police said they were investigating the murder.
